This helps us make sure everything is ready when you get here. When you arrive at the clinic, they will give you some paper forms to fill out. Everything is private.

When emailing us, tell us:

• Your first name
• Your email address, and whether we can send you email
• If not, give us a better way to contact you
• Your city - We help women from the rural areas of New Mexico. If you live in Albuquerque, Santa Fe or Las Cruces, and need help, tell us why
• Your state - We usually only help women in New Mexico, if you live in another state, and need our help, tell us why
• Your age - if you are under 18, do you still live with a parent or guardian?
• Are you still covered by a parent's health insurance?
• If yes, can you tell your parents you need an abortion?
Sometimes people who are against abortion will set up 'fake' clinics. They are sometimes called Crisis Pregnancy Centers. They will often offer free pregnancy tests and 'counseling' to try to talk you out of choosing an abortion. Check the yellow pages of your phone book and ONLY call the clinics listed under the title 'Abortion Providers'. Or go to www.prochoice.org.

• Do you have an appointment at an abortion clinic?
• Are you employed?
• Do you have insurance?
• Does your insurance cover abortion?

• What kind of help do you need?
• Transportation
• A place to stay overnight
• Meals
• Childcare -- The clinics do NOT allow children
• Sign language interpreter
• Birth control after the abortion
